Barbro Fridén will end her position as the Director of the Sahlgrenska University Hosiptal in Gothenburg and start working for GHP in the United Arab Emirates.
She will leave Sahlgrenska during the summer and the recruitment process of finding a new Director has already started.
Her new role at Global Health Partners (GHP) will be to export Swedish healthcare knowledge to the United Arab Emirates.
“I have had a fantastic time here at Sahlgrenska and the decision was not easy,” commented Fridén. “The challenge to export Swedish healthcare knowledge was too appealing to turn down.”
Fridén was awarded Leader of the Year in 2015 for her work at Sahlgrenska.
