Arab Health, January 30th – February 2nd 2017, is the second largest healthcare exhibition and congress in the world and the largest in the Middle East. Paula Hassoon, CEO of Global Pharma Consulting, explains more about the upcoming 42nd event.
What makes Arab Health an important life science event?
“It offers important opportunities for collaboration all over the world and in the MENA region in particular. MENA distributors attend the event to look for new innovative solutions and Nordic companies have a great reputation in this region. In addition, many large hospitals and authorities exhibit, which gives you direct contact and the possibility to showcase your products and your services to them, as well as to receive answers about regulations etc.”
What is your best advice for companies attending the event?
“It is a large event and to visit it without prior planning does not give you that much and can be stressful if you are not exhibiting. You should think through what you want, who you want to meet etc, make a list their booth number and approach them methodically. Try to pre-book meetings in advance so that you are sure to meet a decision maker.”
The 4 day event is held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center.
