Sales Representative Chromatography, Finland

We are looking for a curious and socially skilled Sales Representative to promote and sell the company Chromatography products in Finland. A close connection with all other colleagues in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) teams are vital ingredients in maximizing performance and secure customer satisfaction. To fully benefit from the overall breath of product offerings and to ensure the full potential of synergy effects, close contacts with all sales colleagues in the region and key account group are equally important.

We are looking for a person with previous laboratory Chromatography skills and preferable you also have sales experience or are highly knowledgeable in the field.

Principal Responsibilities
• Responsible for identifying business opportunities to the company portfolio and services to the Finnish market. This is the essential part of the role and will require a high level of an advanced understanding for business development and Analytical/Chromatographic experience to qualify customer needs
• Expands market share for company Portfolio (GC, HPLC, IC, DIA) in Finland, working closely with colleagues in the Nordic sales and support team
• Build strong connections and relationships across the entire organization of customer accounts ranging from end user to management
• To negotiate contracts and close orders
• Maintain and regularly enter accurate and complete customer data and sales project information into the company CRM system (SalesForce.Com)
• Provide accurate timely sales forecasts to sales management
• Being able to clearly identify and interpret customer’s requirements and align those to company capabilities. Apply company solutions to the customer needs and effectively communicate these to end users
• Exchange Account Information and Sales Leads within and across company commercial divisions
• Actively attend Finnish and Nordic trade shows, user meetings, seminars and other customer facing events
• Be prepared to discuss business forecasts and growth opportunities in Finland with regional sales management
• Work cooperatively and effectively with peers in the Sales, Sales / Support, and Technical service and colleagues in the back-office teams to always ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction with our products and services
• Consistently achieve or exceed order bookings objectives

Education and Experience
• BSc level qualification in a scientific discipline preferably Chemistry
• Relevant experience in a sales or marketing environment be it capital analytical equipment sales/marketing or a consumables type environment. Alternatively, a candidate with no sales experience but someone with a strong commercial awareness and a good knowledge of Chromatography would be considered
• A broad familiarity of the following industries: Academia, Healthcare, Pharma, Food & Beverage and Environmental
• Good understanding for key account management
• Experience with Business development and Cold calls
• Ability to identify new target accounts each year and be able to develop and execute territory plans

• The position requires the ability to travel within your defined geographical area and on occasions to facilities across Europe or in the US

“Must have”
• B.Sc. or similar qualification in a scientific discipline preferably Chemistry
• Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines and targets
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Fluent in Finnish
• A good level of knowledge in the English language, both written and oral
• A good level of interpersonal, motivational and organizational skills
• Ability to travel (50-60% of the customers are in the Helsinki area)
• Valid driving license

Location: Preferably living in Helsinki area (with the flexibility being field or office based), sales, service and support team in FI available
