Small Uppsala company in large deal

The smaller family company Namtall, a sister company to Medeca Pharma AB, has entered a large deal with pharmaceutical giant Valeant Pharmaceuticals.

The deal, worth SEK 760 million (USD 115 million) plus royalties, regards the licensing rights for the sales of adrenalin pens for the treatment of allergic reactions.

The medtech company Namtall from Uppsala has developed the adrenalin pen Emrade which today is sold in Sweden and England and is also launched in several European countries continuously. The company also develops allergy tests and allergy protections.
