Finnish healthtech in Denmark

The Finnish Tech Embassy in Odense Denmark has turned into a living-lab and showroom for hosting high-quality offerings from Finnish health tech companies.
The Finnish Health Tech Embassy was officially opened in Odense Denmark in June. Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen and Ambassador Ann-Marie Nyroos cut the red ribbons and both were very positive about this new way of working together and supporting innovation and technology cooperation.
“We have been very happy to discover many interesting solutions and technologies from Finland so far. Now we look forward to start working more closely with the municipal care sector to present these solutions. Our focus is on finding new technologies to respond to the challenges of the Danish assisted care sector. Danish municipalities are rather advanced in screening for and applying new assisted living technologies. But there is still space for high-quality scalable products on the market, and at our embassy participation is free of charge,” says Britt Sørensen who runs the Tech embassy at Public Intelligence.
The Finpro Digital Hospitals program is cooperating with Public Intelligence on this Finnish Tech Embassy project and the program director Eero Toivainen strongly encourages more companies to join.
“This is a good opportunity to harvest the benefits of Public Intelligence’s excellent network and knowledge of the assisted living sector in order to speed up market entry. In September we are arranging an introduction visit to the Tech Embassy and I highly encourage you to join the visit!”
Currently the Tech Embassy is hosting the products of Roidu, 9 Solutions, Tukimet, Mendor, Vivago, Maricare Group, Fastroi, Evondos, Plantui, Health Invest and HealthFox.
