The first ever Baltic Sea Health Summit BSHS 2014 will be held in Finland, in the city of Turku on 3-5 June 2014.

The conference and partnering event is aimed at people working in the biotechnology field in Russia and the EU. The theme of the event will be “Turning science into business for tomorrow’s health and well-being” which will include new ideas for business, product development and financing as well as opportunities for partnering. Other topics on the programme include financing, biobanks, diagnostics, regulatory issues and partnering.

The event is organised by Turku Science Park Ltd. Cooperation partners are City of Turku, University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Turku Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Europe Network, Skolkovo and RVC.
