Orexo has recently entered a settlement agreement with Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries to resolve a patent litigation regarding the company's Zubsolv sublingual tablet for the treatment of opioid use disorder in the US. Orexo has entered into a settlement agreement with Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries to resolve the patent litigation regarding Zubsolv (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual tablet (CIII), for the treatment of opioid use disorder in the US.

The company has been granted a US patent for its SiPore platform technology.
