MSD has signed a framework agreement with the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg and the region Västra Götaland.

The agreement is the starting point for a new collaboration arena which hopefully in the long run will benefit patients. The three collaboration partners will form a steering committee and initiate for example better identification of medical needs and new ways to faster introduce new treatments to the healthcare.

“We want to put the patient in focus and when collaborating with the healthcare sector and the most advanced research we hope to achieve the best possible medical results for patients. Developing the collaboration in this region was hence a natural step for us,” says Jacob tellgren, CEO of MSD Sweden.
