The organizers have followed closely announcements and actions from the various health authorities and reports from the World Health Organization over recent days and have concluded that there is no alternative but to postpone Nordic Precision Medicine Forum and Nordic AI Healthcare and Medicine Forum 2020 as a consequence of COVID-19.

The understanding of the potential reach of the virus has significantly changed in the past days and of course it would be an unacceptable risk to bring together such a group of life science and healthcare professionals in one place, they state.

“This decision, as you will appreciate, has not been an easy one to make and is done so with the health of our attendees and wider community in mind. We very much recognize the hard work and time that people will have put in to preparing for presentations and so of course want to ensure that this time is not wasted. Indeed, the event was looking as though it would be the most well attended in its history,” they state
