Swedish Ortivus has been pointed out as a supplier of medical records in a large European procurement involving several ambulance operations.
According to the press release, the deal is of a significant value for the Ortivus business. The company states that no further information can be given at the moment, but will publish a press release in the middle of June with more details. Afterwards, due diligence will follow, Ortivus announces in order to form the final commercial and economic conditions. The contract is expected to be signed in September.
Danderyd-based Ortivus was founded in 1985 and today has 20 employees in Sweden and Great Britain. The company is a supplier of mobile solutions for emergency medical care, with 25 years’ experience of cardiology and of developing mobile monitoring and communication solutions. More than 1300 ambulances and 500 hospital beds are equipped with the company’s solutions. Ortivus is listed on NASDAQ OMX.
