Dynamic and collaborative
In Medical Affairs the aim is to identify and understand the knowledge gap, about the companys commercialized vaccines, in the market, and find creative ideas to answer to them.
The department consist at the moment of 10 enthusiastic and inventive colleagues. A dynamic team are in place, for whom collaboration is important. The department consists of 2 product specialist, 3 regional leads, 3 MSLs and one Medical Affairs Operations manager. You will report to VP, Head of Medical Affairs.
Build the knowledge in new markets
As the Regional Medical Affairs Lead your will be the scientific voice in the Nordics and Baltics and at the same time bring the customer insights into the company.
Next year our client will take over two vaccines in the different countries of this region. You will, with support from the global team, the regional commercial team and an MSL, take care of all medical affairs aspects for the different countries.
There is currently limited information about these countries, their experts and their recommendations and it will be your responsibility to build the knowledge.
This will include:
– Understand the medical structure of the different countries
– Bring country specific insights into the organisation
– Build country-specific medical plans
– Provide support to the commercial team
– An important part of the role will also be to take part in the decision making about priorities, urgencies and minimal needed activities.
Travel activities: 30-50%
– Academic degree in a life science subject, e.g. Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry
– Experience from working within Medical Affairs in the vaccine industry
– Good command of written and spoken English language
You are a champion in prioritizing. Being able to identify the important and urgent tasks are the key to success in this role as your ability to work independently. You excel in simple communication when you interpret and explain complex scientific and medical details. As a Regional Lead you will have many different stakeholders both internally and externally, which is why it is important that you are good at building and retaining good relationships. You possess a strong “can-do” attitude and the ability to think and execute outside the box.
