Targovax of Norway appointed two new executives, effective Jan. 5.

Anne-Kirsti Aksnes, PhD, the new vice president of clinical development, has 20 years of experience within clinical research and development in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industries and 10 years of experience in clinical physiology. Previously, she was the vice president for clinical research in Algeta ASA (now Bayer AS), where she worked in strategic, scientific and clinical developments and medical communication.

Tina Madsen, MSc Pharm, new vice president of quality assurance, has more than 20 years of experience within research and development and commercial manufacturing in the pharma and biotech industries related to quality assurance, process development and formulation. Before joining Targovax, she was director of product quality assurance in Algeta ASA (now Bayer AS).
