The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research is allocating ten projects SEK 6 millions each in order to widen the recruitment base for younger promising researchers aspiring for top positions.

The funding will be allocated for a five-year-period within the scope of the program “Underrepresented gender”. According to the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, SFF, the projects span several topics, among others using human cells to test how allergy-causing a substance can be, how neutral stem cells affect psychiatric diseases and could be one of the reasons behind Down’s syndrome as well as the combination of imaging with mechanical analysis of injuries during fractures.
