Circio raises NOK 200 million to fund in vivo CAR-T expansion
Circio Holding has completed a private placement raising approximately NOK 200 million in gross proceeds, earmarked to accelerate a new in vivo CAR-T cell therapy programme built on the company’s circVec circular-RNA platform.
The placement, directed at new international investors, priced 16,865,000 new shares at NOK 11.80 each – a 9% discount to the prior day’s volume-weighted average price. Circio says the proceeds will fund the screening and securing of complementary vector and T-cell-targeted LNP delivery technologies across more than ten active R&D collaborations, with the aim of assembling a complete in vivo CAR-T therapeutic concept alongside its existing circVec work. The company intends to secure access to selected technologies through in-licensing, technology acquisition or M&A.
The round brings Circio’s total capital raised in 2026 to NOK 820 million. Existing shareholders will be offered the chance to participate in a subsequent offering of up to a further NOK 200 million, subject to prospectus approval.
