The deal combines Accuray’s photon-based radiation therapy platforms and imaging capabilities with RaySearch’s RayStation treatment-planning and workflow software, aiming to let clinicians adjust treatment plans immediately before delivery based on a patient’s anatomy at that moment. The initial focus is Accuray’s Radixact platform, with an extension planned to CyberKnife. RaySearch’s oncology information system, RayCare, is also part of the collaboration, intended to simplify connectivity between clinical systems.

Under the agreement, RaySearch will further develop its software to broaden support for Radixact, after which the companies will jointly market and support the combined solution. The licence revenue is expected to be recognised primarily in the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
