CEO Helen Tayton-Martin and founder and Chief AI Officer Andreas Holm Mattsson accepted the award on October 29 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

AI-Immunology uses artificial intelligence to decode the human immune system and develop new immunotherapies for cancer as well as infectious and autoimmune diseases. Evaxion has used the platform to discover and design several drug candidates. The most advanced is the personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01. Last week, three-year data from a Phase II trial of EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma were presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Madrid. The data showed durable clinical outcomes and immune system activation.

“The International Prix Galien Award is a tremendous recognition of our science and technology, which we are honored and delighted to receive. Having been refined, trained and enhanced for almost two decades, AI-Immunology is a leading and clinically validated platform for novel immune drug target discovery, especially in cancer vaccines,” says Helen Tayton-Martin.

The International Prix Galien Award is presented every two years. Only companies that have won a national Prix Galien award within the past two years are eligible. Evaxion won the Prix Galien UK Award for best digital health solution in June 2026. In December 2025, it also won the award for Best Medical Technology/AI Advances in the Nordic and high-growth European and Middle Eastern countries.
