Mercodia and Attana collaborate
The two companies are entering into a strategic collaboration with the goal of developing next-generation solutions in preclinical drug development.
The collaboration will start in early 2026 and will initially last for six months. During this period, Mercodia will rent an Attana Cell 250 instrument including technical support from Attana.
The project generates ongoing revenue for Attana and is a concrete step in the company’s strategy to broaden its business models through instrument rental and application support, it states.
“The collaboration with Attana is an important step to strengthen Mercodia’s bioanalytical expertise and broaden the possibilities in the preclinical area using Attana’s advanced biosensor platform. The partnership is part of Mercodia’s long-term strategy to support drug development in early phases,” says Jörgen Dahlström, CEO of Mercodia.
“We are very pleased to begin this collaboration with Mercodia – an experienced and respected player in bioanalysis. It is proof that our technology fills a real need in the market, while generating revenue here and now,” says Anna Hellergård, CEO of Attana.
