The new hub, AI Gothenburg, is planned to open in 2026 and will offer an environment where early-stage founders can quickly develop, validate and launch applied AI solutions together with various industry partners. It will leverage the Gothenburg region’s strengths in mobility, energy, life science, manufacturing and maritime technology and create a focused environment for business building in applied AI.

“Sweden’s combination of entrepreneurial energy and deep industrial expertise creates a unique opportunity. Through AI Gothenburg and our collaboration with NVIDIA, we enable founders to move from promising pilots to production-ready AI that strengthens Sweden’s global competitiveness,” says Andreas Netz, US Head of Invest, Business Sweden.

The hub is primarily designed for early-stage entrepreneurs, while also serving as a landing pad for international AI teams.

“Startups need access to not only computing power and tools, but also to a community and environment that accelerates learning and implementation. We are proud to support AI Gothenburg, which empowers entrepreneurs to bring advanced AI applications to market,” says Linda Malm, Regional Manager Enterprise, Nordics NVIDIA.
