What will be new or different from previous years?

“This year, we are introducing Spotlight Panels as a new program element. These will consist of focused, 30-minute discussions that allow companies and experts to explore specific topics in a dynamic format. We are also welcoming a record number of 13 international delegations, adding an even stronger global dimension to the conference while maintaining our focus on Nordic life science excellence.”

Who are some of the well-known industry figures who will be on stage?

“In total, 48 speakers from the investment, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthtech sectors are currently confirmed. From the investment community, we will welcome Maha Radhakrishnan of Sofinnova Investments, Emma Johnson of M Ventures, Victor Decrion of Lauxera Capital Partners and Kevin Dalgaard of Lundbeckfonden BioCapital. Pharma representatives include Toby Richardson of Johnson & Johnson, Malin Jonsson Boezelman of AstraZeneca, Jim Allpress of Eisai and Daniel Rankin of Sobi, to name a few.”

What pre-events are on offer for those arriving early?

“NLSDays is increasingly becoming a full week of life science activities. Delegates arriving on Monday, September 7, can join a pre-event session on future-ready leadership, diversity and responsible AI, attend receptions organized by embassies and gather at the Welcome Mixer, while the exclusive Investor Dinner is reserved for investors. Following the two main conference days, the program continues on Thursday with a dedicated tour introducing international delegations to the local life science ecosystem.”

“This year, we are welcoming a record number of 13 international delegations from across Europe and Asia. The growth reflects increasing international interest in Nordic life sciences, our innovative companies and our collaborative, outward-looking ecosystem. What have you planned for the more social parts – the receptions and after-party?

“There will be plenty of opportunities to continue conversations in a more informal setting, beginning with the Hospitality Reception hosted by exhibitors and international delegations. On Tuesday evening, the City of Stockholm will welcome delegates to a special reception at the iconic Stockholm City Hall. Afterwards, we will move to nearby Café Opera for the Evening Reception, where delegates can celebrate and deepen the connections made during the day.”
