Swedish/Danish medical device company Acarix has won the Danish Design Award in the category Employment Growth.

The award is a recognition of Acarix and its CADScor System’s potential for outstanding international success and employment growth. Since going public on Nasdaq First North Premier in Stockholm in December 2016, the company has continued its plans for launching the CADScor System in Q2 2017.

“We are of course delighted to have won this prestigious award, particularly since functional design is such an integral part of the concept behind the Acarix CADScor System. Successful medical device design has many criteria to meet – including functionality, robustness, longevity, safety, and ease of use. The positive reaction we are receiving from the medical community shows that we have met these. The award is also a recognition for the hard work by our skilled and diligent team”, says Acarix CEO Søren Rysholt Christiansen. “We are now getting ready for launching the product in our first markets and are confident that CADScor System will prove to meet an important need for an easy to use and reliable frontline assessment of Coronary Artery Disease – representing a win-win situation for patients, payers and physicians alike.”
