Swedish biotech BioInvent plans a rights issue of approximately SEK 430 million to fund development of its anti-TNFR2 antibody BI-1808 and its other priority programs. The company also proposes to cut up to 20 positions.

Lund-based Alligator Bioscience has agreed to sell all rights and assets related to its CD40 agonist antibody mitazalimab to Biossil. The deal includes an upfront payment of USD 0.75 million, milestone payments of up to USD 108 million, and royalties on future sales.

Bavarian Nordic will donate 75,000 doses of its MVA-BN mpox vaccine to a newly established global mpox vaccine emergency stockpile, and has also been awarded a contract to supply a further 150,000 doses.

Swedish SenzaGen has agreed to acquire Alcyomics, a UK company that tests drug candidates for immune-related side effects without using animals. The initial price is approximately SEK 28 million, and the deal takes SenzaGen into safety testing of biological drugs such as antibodies and T-cell engagers.

Copenhagen-based Evaxion has won the 2026 International Prix Galien Award for best digital health solution for its AI-Immunology platform. It is the first time a Danish company has received the prestigious award.
