AstraZeneca and Chalmers Ventures enter partnership
Through the new partnership AstraZeneca will become a Knowledge Partner to Chalmers Ventures and selected startups from Chalmers Venture’s portfolio will get the opportunity to receive counselling from AstraZeneca’s mentor program AZ Exchange Mentoring.
“This setup is both an important and a fun step forward for us as an incubator and accelerator,” says Linnéa Lindau, CEO Chalmers Ventures. “But foremost we are happy that our companies will get access to market leading counselling in life sciences. Under Knowledge Partner we are working with leading expertise from different industries and AstraZeneca is the perfect partner within life sciences.”
“Innovation happens through collaboration. We want to see more successful companies and increase the attraction force in the region. To be able to easily contribute with our life science experience gives AstraZeneca valuable inspiration from the entrepreneurial world,” says Niklas Magnell, Head of AZ Exchange Mentoring. Chalmers Venture’s active counselling to startups is an operation where we can be a natural complement.”
