The AI ​​Science Institute is being launched through BCG’s technology and innovation arm, BCG X, with the goal of using artificial intelligence (AI) to solve complex challenges faster and more efficiently than ever before.

The institute will bring together over 3,000 experts, including over 200 PhD students, who will work closely with universities, research institutes and companies to develop solutions in areas such as health, climate analysis and advanced data processing, describes Boston Consulting Group.

Powerful AI solutions

In 2024, the firm’s global revenue grew 10% to USD 13.5 billion, with around 20% of revenue coming from AI-related projects.

“To build powerful AI solutions for large enterprises, we need to stay close to the latest research. When business and science collaborate, big progress happens – fast,” says Sylvain Duranton, global head of BCG X.

The AI ​​Science Institute will be led by Dr. Adi Zolotov, with Dr. Leonid Zhukov as Director. The institute will have a global focus and work in areas such as quantum computing, machine learning and the development of new simulation techniques. Collaboration with academic institutions and industrial partners will be central.
