CellaVision appoints new CEO
CellaVision’s board has appointed Steve Ferguson as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
Current CEO Simon Østergaard will remain with the company for a transition period to ensure an orderly handover.
The board said the timing is right for new leadership to guide CellaVision toward a clearer commercial focus and a stronger growth agenda for its current portfolio, while also supporting the commercialization of its innovation pipeline.
“Steve Ferguson has a strong commercial background. In the coming years, CellaVision will focus heavily on launching and commercializing its current innovation portfolio, and strong commercial leadership is needed to ensure success,” says Zlatko Rihter, chair of CellaVision’s board.

“I am deeply honored to take over as CEO of CellaVision. It is a fantastic company with a strong product and innovation portfolio and highly skilled employees. Together, we will build on the solid foundation that exists and accelerate our growth journey in the global market,” Ferguson says.
