Cellevate appoints new Chairman of the Board of Directors
The appointment of Uwe Gottschalk follows the resignation of Mats Leifland, who served as Chairman of the Board until March 12, 2024.

Uwe Gottschalk currently serves as an Operating Partner at Keensight Capital. Gottschalk holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry for early work on antibody drug conjugates back in 1987 and was awarded the Bioprocessing Lifetime Achievement Award (2021) after some 30 years in the biotech industry. Previously, Gottschalk served as Group Vice President at Sartorius Stedim Biotech (2004-2014), with a global responsibility for all bioseparation-related process technology. Before joining Keensight Capital in 2022 he was Chief Technology Officer (2014-2017) and Chief Scientific Officer (2017-2021) at Lonza where he established and led the global Research and Technology organisation.
