Elekta appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Gustaf Salford has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Elekta, effective July 1, 2017.

Salford will be succeeding Håkan Bergström, who will retire per the same date. Salford joined Elekta in 2009 and has worked in several financial leadership roles within the company, most recently as Head of Group Business Control.

In addition to an MSc degree in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, Salford brings broad financial experience from among others Boston Consulting Group and Booz Allen Hamilton, as well as intimate knowledge of Elekta and the medical device industry.
