Karolinska Institutet gets new lab
Construction group Skanska has signed a deal with Akademiska Hus to build a new laboratory for Karolinska Institutet.
The order regards the building of a ninth floor laboratory for medical research at the Karolinska Institute Campus in Solna, north of Stockholm, and will contain approximately a total of 17 000 squaremeteter work space. The laboratory is the second part of Biomedicum which Skanska has already started the construction on.
The order value of the new laboratory is estimated at SEK 400 million.
