Maria Fagerquist will be the new Vice Director of the Swedish trade association for the research-based pharmaceutical industry. She will assume office by the end of June 2014. Fagerquist has previously worked as Head of European Public Affairs at Novartis Oncology in Brussels. She has also worked at Pfizer and the Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency.

“I am really looking forward to come home to Sweden and contribute with my experiences to my job at LIF, an organization whose confidence-inspiring work I have followed for a longer time, and which is believed to be one of the best trade associations in Europe within the pharmaceutical area,” says Maria Fagerquist.

“With Maria, LIF will have a driving and very competennt vice director with a broad view of the pharmaceutical and healthcare area,” said LIF Director Anders Blanck.
