Gunilla Osswald has been appointed as the company’s new CEO.

Osswald joined BioArctic in February 2013 as Deputy CEO. She was recruited from AstraZeneca where she was working as VP for Neurodegenerative disorder projects. According to Bioarctic, the new CEO has vast experience in leadership and drug development in neuroscience. In a press release from the company, Bioarctic also states that the founder and previous CEO Pär Gellerfors will continue to work as an Executive Senior Advisor focusing on business development, external collaborations and the company’s Spinal Cord Project.
