In August last year Teva completed its acquisition of Actavis Generics and the new Teva in Norway will be among the 15 largest companies in the country.

The new company will be named Teva and will be located at Teva’s facilities in Hagaløkkveien in Asker. Employees from Actavis moved in with the Teva team in January and the company employs today 30 people.

“Teva is a very exciting company,” says Tore Solbu, Managing Director of Teva Norway. “Through this merger Teva has obtained products from teh company previouslt known as Alpharma, which means that we have a local footprint.”

Actavis Norway AS will remain as a company for awhile, and Actavis will be responsible for its pharmaceuticals and marketing issues.

Today, Teva produces pharmaceuticals for multiple sclerosis, respiratory diseases and cancer and has generics within several therapy areas.
