Nordic partnering for global life science
In September, decision makers from the life science sector will meet in the Swedish capital for the second Nordic Life Science Days conference.
The event, hosted by the Swedish life science industry organization SwedenBIO, is the largest Nordic partnering conference for the global life science industry and brings together the best talent in life science, offering networking and partnering opportunities, providing input and content in the most recent trends.
“We were very pleased with the results from last year’s meeting. This year we will strengthen the Nordic perspective further and focus on the latest trends and success stories. We definitely fill a need in the international meeting arena,” says Olivier Duchamp, CEO, Nordic Life Science Days.
The conference attracts leading decision makers from the Life Science sector, not only from biotech, pharma and medtech but also from finance, research, policy and regulatory authorities. Based on cutting-edge and advanced partnering and networking tools, Nordic Life Science Days showcases the best the Nordic region has to offer. The event includes face-to-face meetings, company presentations, workshops and an exhibition.
In 2014 the Nordic Life Science Days conference, in close cooperation with Oslo Cancer Cluster and Toulouse Cancer-Bio-Santé Cluster, will integrate the European Cancer Cluster Partnering conference (ECCP 2014) as its Special Oncology track. For example, there will be a session hosted by Oslo Cancer Cluster and Toulouse Cancer Bio-Santé; ECCP – Biomarkers, Biobanks and Big Data in Oncology, which will deal with the topic of how to accelerate product development and improve patient treatment. Another point on the agenda involves a panel discussion on redefining early stage investments. The panel brings together representatives from new investor categories and seeks to define who they are, what opportunities they are seeking, and how early stage life science entrepreneurs should approach them to initiate a dialogue based on fit.
Nordic Life Science Days will take place on September 7-9 at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre.
