NevroNor has scheduled the National Meeting “New Horizons in Neuroscience” for Nov. 25 at the Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport, Gardermoen.
According to information from the Research Council of Norway, “At the start of EUs Horizon 2020 program, the conference points to several new directions in international neuroscience research. These include the use of computational tools and large-scale neural network simulations, the increasing emphasis on astrocytes for understanding brain function, and the challenges of dealing with the large amount of data that is currently amassed both in basic and clinical neuroscience.”
The aim of the Research Council’s NevroNor initiative is to provide support for Norwegian neuroscience research of top international caliber. Besides coordinating funding for neuroscience, the NevroNor also sponsors conferences and communicates with the research community.
