The Gates Foundation, Novo Nordisk Foundation, and Wellcome have announced the launch of the Gram-Negative Antibiotic Discovery Innovator (Gr-ADI), a USD 50 million investment that will focus on combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR) caused by a specific range of bacteria that are among the leading contributors to AMR-associated deaths.

All participants are determined to establish Europe as a global leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), advancing AI development and application.

The two companies have announced a strategic alliance to collaborate on the manufacturing of current pipeline programs and potential future programs based on Eleva's technology platform.

The collaboration aims to speed up the introduction of new innovations in healthcare, increase interaction between industry and academia, and work together for sustainable innovation support in Skåne.
