Over the past few years, Paues Åberg has developed a specialized offering for financial communications and expanded its client base in primarily the life science sector.

To meet this growing demand, Paues Åberg has recruited Anna Spängs as Manager and Malin Almkvist as assistant consultant.

“We are seeing more requests from companies struggling to describe themselves in a comprehensible way, which if not addressed in the long run risks creating a disadvantageous valuation gap. We are therefore very pleased to present Anna as a new member of our team to meet this demand,” says Jonas Rodny, Director and Head of Paues Åberg’s financial communications practice.

Anna Spängs

Anna Spängs has an extensive background as a consultant, most recently from the firms Springtime-Intellecta and Fogel & Partners, where she primarily worked with financial and sustainability communication. Prior to becoming a consultant Anna worked with investor relations at the hedge fund Brummer & Partners and was a financial analyst at Nyhetsbyrån Direkt. In her latest role as an advisor at Springtime-Intellecta she was also contracted out to the Government Offices of Sweden as a project manager and editor of annual and quarterly reports for state-owned enterprises.

”Paues Åberg is a firm that believes in the power of communication to enable change and emphasizes a positive view on society. It is very exciting to join the team. I also look forward to being involved in the development of financial communications services at a firm that has strong potential to grow in this area,” says Anna Spängs.

Malin Almkvist

The firm is also strengthening the financial communications team with the addition of Malin Almkvist, currently a bachelor’s student at the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan Stockholm). She has studied economic history, digital communication and lean management at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan. Malin has also interned at McKinsey and worked part time at Mangold Fondkommission.
