Olalla Grau

Olalla has over 20 years of experience from leadership roles within Roche globally and other players in the life sciences sector. She has a research background in pharmacy and biochemistry and has worked with strategy and business development in the pharmaceutical industry for many years.

Together with colleagues and partners, I want to contribute to ensuring that more patients in Sweden have long-term and rapid access to new innovations.

“At Roche, the needs of patients have always been at the center of our work, and my driving force is that we will make a real difference where it is needed most. In a time characterized by uncertainty, we need to shorten the path from innovation to patient benefit. Together with colleagues and partners, I want to contribute to ensuring that more patients in Sweden have long-term and rapid access to new innovations. It is not enough that breakthroughs happen, they must reach the person behind the diagnosis faster than they do today,” says Olalla Grau.

She emphasizes the importance of partnerships to achieve the goals:

“Through collaboration with healthcare, patient associations, academia and politics, we want to continue working for more equal care and the best possible health for patients. Sweden has a long and successful tradition in life science and I look forward to us together building on that foundation to meet today’s and future healthcare challenges,” she says.
