Sigrid Therapeutics nominated for Most Innovative Team/Innovator of the Year
“I am incredibly proud of the dedication and passion our multidisciplinary team has shown throughout our journey from scientific discovery in the lab to becoming a clinical stage company. We will soon report topline data from a second clinical trial with our breakthrough medical device for treatment of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes and we are delighted that our novel approach to prevent and treat the global epidemics of diabetes is being recognized internationally,” comments the CEO of Sigirid Therapeutics, nominated in the category Most Innovative Team/Innovator of the Year.
Elypta nominated for Best Technological Innovation: Diagnostics
“We are delighted with this nomination,” says Karl Bergman, CEO of Elypta, nominated in the category Best Technological Innovation: Diagnostics. “Accurate, rapid and cost-effective diagnostics are essential to fulfill the promise of personalized medicine and we believe we need to find markers also in metabolism to achieve this. We are already gaining a great deal of interest in the US for our approach and this nomination will help raise our profile further.”
Pilloxa nominated for Best Technological Innovation: Digital
Pilloxa offers a smart pillbox which helps ensure patients take their medication properly.
“This is a major problem not only in the US with over 125 000 deaths annually, but also worldwide, especially among the elderly and children. When it comes to developing high quality treatments for future patients, it is equally important to ensure protocol adherence in clinical trials and we are currently running several collaboration projects with Big Pharma. We are delighted to have reached the finals in such a competitive category as Best Technological Innovation: Digital,” says Per Nilsson, Co-Founder of Pilloxa.
An awards ceremony on September 23rd
