The Swedish government has appointed Catarina Andersson Forsman as new Director General of the agency.
Andersson Forsman has previously worked as deputy county council director and healthcare director for the Stockholm County Council. She has also been executive director of the Swedish Medical Association and as director at the National Board of Health and Welfare.
Catarina Andersson Forsman is a radiologist and has a Doctor’s degree in medical science. She will assume the new post on October 1 2014.
