This year’s winner has developed a Swedish innovation that concretely strengthens independence and quality of life for people with impaired hand function. By combining advanced technology with rehabilitation, the company contributes to more people being able to return to work and live a more independent life. During the year, the company has taken important steps in its international expansion, with breakthroughs in several markets, especially in the USA, Germany and also Ukraine. The company has shown both perseverance and execution power in a complex environment and is a clear example of the “fighter” mentality that characterizes the Rising Star category. With its combination of innovation, early international success and great future potential, the company is an inspiring example of Swedish medical technology at the forefront.

Swecare Export Awards

Since 2008, the Swecare Export Awards have been awarded annually to companies that have had successful export initiatives in the healthcare sector with creativity, commitment and global reach. The winners are selected by a jury representing both the industry and the public sector in Sweden.
