The European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (EUFEPS) has chosen the Swedish city for its annual meeting in 2014.

This years topic of EUFEPS Annual Meeting is ”Medicines for the Future – Systems Approaches to Shape Pharmaceutical Sciences”. Discussions will be held on the forthcoming EU research budget, Horizon2020 and the possibilities to apply for research funding. There will also be information about projects run by the pharmaceutical faculty, Uppsala University within Innovative-Medicines-Initiative, IMI.

“We believe that the combination of Horizon Scanning together with presentations of top research within new areas of pharmaceutical sciences, along with the possibilites to discuss future collaborations and applications to European research funding, will contribute to a successful meeting,” said Per Öhrngren, EUFEPS Office and Promotion Manager.
