Eyedentity closes funding round led by Norrsken Launcher
Eyedentity, a company in the Karolinska Institutet Innovation Incubator, has closed an oversubscribed investment round led by Norrsken Launcher.
Karolinska Institutet Innovation is also participating in the round, alongside other investors.
Eyedentity is developing an AI-based diagnostics platform designed to enable earlier detection of serious eye diseases during routine eye examinations. The company’s first application focuses on uveal melanoma, a rare and potentially life-threatening form of eye cancer that can be difficult to detect at an early stage.
The funding will support further technology development and commercialization efforts. Norrsken Launcher will also provide operational support as Eyedentity advances its research-based platform toward the market.
Eyedentity is part of the Karolinska Institutet Innovation Incubator, which supports the development of research-based life science companies.
