GPX Medical AB has suggested a name change in order to better gain an international position within the medtech industry and to clarify the board’s strategic focus on developing products for premature babies and neonatal intensive care.

“The new name is proposed before the annual general meeting to become NEOLA Medical AB. This is important for the company’s positioning on the international market. Strategically this also means that the board has decided that the company will focus on neonatal intensive care in the future. The name is directly connected to the company’s product for monitoring the lungs of premature babies, NEOLA, NEOnatal Lung Analyzer, it is internationally relevant, and it already has a broad trademark protection,” says Hanna Sjöström, CEO, GPX Medical.
