Hans Braunstein started his new role at Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) on February 20, 2023.
He previously held the role of Country Business Leader Nordics for the business area MDS. The ambition is now to continue contributing to the development of sustainable patient-focused healthcare through, among other things, innovation, and collaboration, he states.
“As a company, BD is big enough to make a difference. Together with my associates, we will continue to grow the company’s operations while simultaneously contributing to making healthcare more efficient in everything from research and diagnostics to emergency care and surgery with the solutions and services we provide,” says Braunstein.

Hans Braunstein has experience from various positions within both Nordic and European medical technology companies. In his new role, he will be responsible for 260 employees in the Nordics. Braunstein succeeds Helena Bragd.
“I feel deeply honored to have the opportunity to represent BD in my new role as Nordic Country General Manager and very much look forward to continuing to develop BD with patient and healthcare worker safety in focus,” says Braunstein.
During his two and a half years at BD, he has built strong relations and substantial business-acumen across the Nordic organization, states the company. With the support of his associates and continued collaboration with partners and customers, he looks forward to deepening his relationships and exploring innovative healthcare solutions. At the same time, he has ambitious plans for the company moving forward, states BD.
