Finnish health technology company Mega Electronics has signed a co-operation agreement with two Chinese medical device companies.
Huafu Medical and Mercer Medical will start distribution of Mega Electronics’ remote-readable Faros ECG monitoring devices, reports Good News Finland. The Faros monitoring device is used to measure a person’s ECG.
The goal is to a comprehensive distribution network for the product among China’s major hospitals. The first phase is worth an estimated million euros.
“The opening up of a distribution channel in China creates an entirely new business landscape for us. Thanks to the agreement, Mega Electronics can focus even more of its efforts on R&D. We will be requiring more experts in R&D and marketing,” says Arto Remes, CEO and President of Mega Electronics Ltd to Good News Finland.
