The Finnish diabetes technology company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for its blood glucose meter with Beijing Tagene Medical Co., Ltd.

Under the agreement, Tagene will distribute the all-in-one blood glucose meter Mendor Discreet throughout China as of May this year for Mendor Discreet to be available to Chinese diabetes patients. “This is great news as we have worked hard to establish the business in China and it is great to be able to give the distribution rights to company like Tagene. I am positive that this collaboration will become an enabler of better diabetes care for a lot of people with diabetes in China,” commented Mendor’s CEO Kristian Ranta in a press release.

Founded in 2006

Mendor was founded in 2006 in Helsinki, Finland. The company designs, develops and markets diabetes management products. The Mendor Discreet,  a blood glucose meter, is the company’s first product.
