For the ninth time, Recipharm has received the SwedenBIO Award.

According to the announcement, “Recipharm has purposefully and with great skill built up a solid organization with a critical mass. A good revenue model not only has contributed to the company’s ability to create jobs in Sweden, but also to establish itself in the international market. Recipharm is an extraordinary life science company and during the year strongly contributed to an increased interest in the industry and is a good and inspiring example for the whole Swedish life science industry.”

“Recipharm shows that with the help of strong leadership, a responsible investment strategy and focus on quality you can build a global life science company based in Sweden, something that will hopefully inspire others to similar deeds,” says Lars Adlersson, chairman of SwedenBIO.

Other nominees for the SwedenBIO Award 2015 were Moberg Pharma, OnTarget Chemistry, Xvivo Perfusion, Scandinavian Biopharma, Immunicum and Bioarctic Neuroscience.

The SwedenBIO Award is the industry’s own prize and the winner receives a challenge trophy and two delegate places for Nordic Life Science Days Sept. 9-10. The prize is awarded to a company that demonstrated extraordinary achievements and success in the life science industry in the past year and has contributed to an increased interest in the industry.

The winner is selected by the SwedenBIO board.
