At expected utilisation, Senzime estimates the systems will be used in around 10,000 surgeries a year. Each use generates recurring revenue from the company’s single-use TetraSens sensors. Senzime says the contract gives it a foothold in another large regional hospital network, with room to expand within the network over time. Neither the network’s name nor the contract value was disclosed.

TetraGraph monitors how deeply a patient’s muscles are relaxed during anaesthesia. This helps clinicians decide when to insert a breathing tube, adjust doses of muscle relaxants and reversal drugs, and judge when a patient has recovered enough to breathe unaided. The system is used at more than 750 hospitals and has monitored more than one million patients.
