On behalf of our client and due to growth in the Nordics, Best Talent is now seeking a Service Technician covering the Nordic countries.

The Team in the Nordics

The area is fully owned and led by the company with more than 500 employees worldwide. A team of sales and service specialists is available to support customers and advise potential new clients. The field activity is supported by Customer Service including Application Specialists, Marketing, and Finance functions.

Challenge

The role is to provide direct and outstanding service primarily in Denmark and Sweden, as they are the biggest markets, however you also cover Norway and Faroe Islands.

It will be your responsibility to perform all service activities on the company own products, whether the client operates in R&D or Quality Control. The solutions which the company offers are tailor-made to cover a wide range of distinct needs and achieve highest convenience. As Service Technician you bring highly technical skills including a high service level and a commercial mindset to the customers. Together with the Nordic team you are an important key player in securing market growth and development in the defined region.

In close dialogue with the Nordic Sales team, you plan and structure your own workday. Training or special calls and travelling within Europe is required.

We are looking for a person who can identify with the following:

Ensure highest professional relationship with the customers to achieve customer loyalty
Proactively secure a strong cooperation with the Sales team and the Service team
Support with your technical assistance by installations, training, seminars, and the like
Optimize work schedule in dialogue with the Nordic team and the Service department
Assure alignment on your activities including reporting into CRM
Assure invoicing related to your working field in due time
Acquisition of service contracts to the customers when applicable
Participate in product training and the like

You are offered a competitive salary package and a very nice work environment, a workday with great independence where you use your own resources to find the solutions within your responsibility.

You function well working home-based when not with your customers. You can expect about 40-50 traveling days within the Nordics. As many of the customers are placed in the Zealand region and due to the traveling part, we prefer that you live close to an airport, preferably in the region greater Copenhagen or Southern Sweden. You will join a comprehensive onboarding program. You will report to the Manager of Customer Service.

Your profile and Talent

You have a background within Electronics e.g you are educated Electrician or the like. You have a natural interest and know- how within IT and a very good understanding of data and how to use it. Preferably you have skills and know-how from the Chemistry/Laboratory field, but this it is not a must as you will be trained significantly.
The most important thing to be a success in this company is your personality, loyalty, and interest in being among the best. This you will achieve by your natural and on-going interest and curiosity in learning and developing your technical skills.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and have demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities. You are service minded and at the same time commercial driven. You have strong communication skills when interacting with the clients and internally. You represent the company in a professional way and with an open mindset, giving a good and valuable service. You like people and have excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills.

We expect that you have a high-level knowledge of the Danish and English language and maybe you can read and understand the German language.
