The city brings together deep experience in large scale chromatography, strong academic knowledge and a community where industry and research naturally connect, describes the company.

The Uppsala site is designed to bring Sunresin closer to customers and partners in Europe. Its purpose is not only to create a physical presence in the region, but to support faster collaboration, stronger technical exchange and more practical application development, the company states.

The new site will focus on resin development, application support and technical collaboration, helping customers address real process challenges in biomolecule purification.

A full day of science, collaboration and celebration

The grand opening on June 18 includes an exclusive one-day event for selected customers, partners and industry guests. The program will include scientific talks from respected voices in the industry, with a focus on the future of agarose resins, protein purification and bioprocessing.

Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the new facilities, meet the Sunresin team and take part in conversations around current purification challenges and future development needs.

The day will also include a guided walk through Uppsala, taking place just before the longest day of the year, when the city enjoys almost 19 hours of daylight. The event will close with a gala dinner in one of Uppsala’s most special venues, creating a relaxed setting to continue the conversations started during the day.
