Cytomed to Make Flu Drug in Finland

Russian-owned company Cytomed, which has a pharmaceutical plant near Lappeenranta in eastern Finland, won approval from the Finnish Medicines Agency to start production of its influenza medicine Cytovir-3.  Cytomed’s Finnish pharmaceutical plant was built in 2012 and is focused on producing drugs for the Russian market.
