Medicvent secures major hospital contracts in Sweden and France
The company has secured two major hospital contracts in Sweden and France, with a combined value of approximately SEK 16 million.
The first project concerns the new emergency hospital in Västerås, Västmanland, Sweden, while the second relates to the reconstruction of the university hospital in Nantes, France, a project with a total budget of EUR 1.25 billion.
The awards follow a year of 11 percent revenue growth and mark an important step in the company’s international expansion.
“These contracts provide both an immediate financial contribution and highly valuable reference projects for our continued growth,” says Roger Folkhage, CEO, Medicvent.
Solutions designed to evacuate harmful gases
Medicvent develops and manufactures medical technology solutions designed to evacuate harmful gases (such as anesthetic gases, nitrous oxide, and surgical smoke) from healthcare environments. Winning two projects of this scale in quick succession has placed significant demands on the organization.
The French project represents the largest international commitment Medicvent has undertaken to date.
New distributor in Austria
To support growth and ensure quality and capacity, Medicvent expanded its organization with two new hires during 2025. The company’s ambition is to continue growing, both in Sweden and internationally.
“Our full focus is on continued growth, particularly outside Sweden. We have recently established a new distributor in Austria and are currently exploring partnerships in both Germany and the United Kingdom,” says Roger Folkhage.
